At Precious Piercings, you’ll find a range of options to suit your style. We offer two distinct choices in solid 14K gold.

For one, we’ve partnered with Willis Fine Jewelry in Rockwall to craft an exclusive collection of custom-made CZ earring studs. These studs include a one-year warranty that covers breakage or lost stones—just bring the broken pieces to us for replacement. Lost earrings are not included in the warranty. You can purchase these individually.

Our other solid 14K gold selection comes from a trusted wholesale manufacturer. These earrings are sold only as pairs and do not include a warranty.

Additionally, we now carry implantable, medical-grade titanium options available in silver or 18K gold PVD plating. These also are only sold as pairs and do not include a warranty.

*We prohibit the use of outside jewelry for two primary reasons. Firstly, to ensure proper sterilization, as all jewelry is sanitized and sterilized in a medical-grade autoclave prior to use. Secondly, we cannot verify that items brought in by customers are suitable or safe for piercing procedures.

Why is the metal type so important when piercing you ask? The type of metal used for piercing is crucial due to the prevalence of metal allergies, particularly nickel sensitivity. Nickel is present in many metal alloys; however, yellow gold contains minimal or no nickel, making it a preferred choice for individuals with sensitivities. In contrast, certain white gold varieties may contain small amounts of nickel, so those with known allergies are advised to select yellow gold.

Titanium, which contains no nickel, is suitable for individuals sensitive to metals. Medical-grade or implantable titanium is utilized for its durability and scratch resistance. For clients preferring the appearance of yellow gold, titanium can be offered with PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) gold plating. As both titanium and gold carry low allergy risks and precious metal prices continue to rise, this option provides an attractive and cost-effective alternative.
